About

This is not the website of San Francisco-based oncologist Julian Hong.

Name’s Julien Hong — with an “e,” not an “a.” Easy mistake.

French cinematographer and editor based in Chicago.

Throughout engineering school, I started making comedic shorts and gradually moved into fast-paced event teasers and recaps, as well as social content for some of my favorite restaurants.

Now I’m taking that same instinct for rhythm and atmosphere into documentaries, narrative films, and branded content — building this portfolio one film at a time.
